German Police Arrests Ajax Amsterdam Soccer Hooligans

The police in the German town of Dortmund today arrested 30 supporters of Ajax Amsterdam. In anticipation of the game against the local Borussia club they had damaged an electric tramway so much that it could not continue its route. Yesterday-night a bus with 24 Ajax supporters was stopped on the way to Dortmund. The supporters were in the possession of drugs as well as gloves which were strengthened with lead. As the police could not determine who the specific owners of these items were the bus could continue toward Dortmund, while the prohibited goods were confiscated.
