Thirty-Three People Arrested After International Soccer Game


After the international soccer game on Saturday night between the Netherlands and Scotland, 33 people were arrested, of whom 31 were Dutchmen. Seventeen were arrested for discriminatory slogans, insults and incitement. They had shouted anti-Semitic slogans such as “Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the gas.” Another 14 were arrested for violence, vandalism and drunkenness. The two Scottish fans were arrested for being drunk.
