Dutch Soccer Club Punished by European Association

The European Football Association (UEFA) has fined the Dutch first division soccer club NEC 50,000 Euro. During a UEFA cup game against Hamburg SV, the referee was wounded by an object thrown by a spectator in the stands. NEC had already been fined 5,000 Euro earlier this year because of hooliganism during a game against Dinamo Bucharest.
