Military Police: Amsterdam Airport Vulnerable to Crime

A report by the Dutch military police on the security of Amsterdam’s airport and four other major airports in the country shows they are all vulnerable to crime. The weaknesses discovered could be used for terrorist attacks. Various businesses located at the airport claim that neither the military police nor the customs authorities give priority to the problem of criminality in the freight areas. They say further that these offices don’t have either the knowledge or sufficient staff to deal properly with crime. This leads to the temptation to commit crimes and the possibility of terrorist acts.www.ad.nl/binnenland/2941144/Veiligheid_Schiphol_blijft_kwetsbaar.html
